Safety is, as it should be, the primary focus for the job site. Tools and equipment must be selected with the idea the all workers will go home safely at the end of their shift. While all trades may have tools specific to their jobs, one common tool just about everyone uses is scaffolding. While there are many different types or construction scaffolding available, there are some commonalities all of them share.

The ubiquitous scaffold frames seen on construction sites around the world are designed to allow workers to function safely at various levels above ground level. Manufacturers offer equipment to facilitate the work needs of the various trades, including various accessories to hold paint and tools. While construction scaffolding may be rented locally, if frequent use is anticipated, it is generally more cost effective to purchase scaffolding. Since rental cost are based on time of use, the costs for renting becomes prohibitive for larger jobs. Consider renting, however, when a specific scaffold configuration may only be needed for a short time.
